Welcome to my tutoring page! I am currently in my first year of studying medicine, and hope to use the skills i've developed on my journey to assist other student meet their aspirations. I'm passionate about guiding students to unlock their full academic potential. My name's Charlotte. In my personal life, you can find me mountain biking, kayaking, camping or generally anything outdoors- I love to challenge myself! I do, however, equally enjoy reading a good book with a cup of hot chocolate. I am a trainee Counselling Psychologist on the Doctorate in Counselling Psychology course (ProfDoc). I also have a Masters (MSc) degree in Applied Psychology (Psychological therapies) and a Bachelors (BSc) degree in Psychology. In addition, I am a Support Worker (p/t) in a hospital setting and have over 100 hours of experience working as a trainee counselling psychologist. This has allowed me to feel confident in supporting a wide range of individuals in empowering themselves to overcome difficulties. My academic experience includes writing reports, conducting research and analysing results. I also have practical experience working collaboratively with clients and planning sessions to work towards their identified goals. As a tutor, I feel my skills lend themselves to supporting children and young people with English Language and Literature. I am well versed in planning and structuring an assignment, critically analysing text and context, and presenting complex ideas in a clear, focused way. I am also able to contrast and compare a variety of different writing styles. My focus as a tutor is to provide gentle guidance to encourage students to begin to feel confident in their own skills. I will work collaboratively with the student/ parent to identify goals and seek feedback on progress in order to achieve the best outcomes.

My name's Alex. I achieved and A* in both maths and further maths A level as well as 9's in GCSE maths and further maths. Currently, I'm a student at Bristol University studying maths as well as a tutor to try and help you achieve your goals in maths. I'm happy to work in whatever way suits to help you achieve the best result you can.

I am an optimistic, energetic and happy young man who likes new challenges. I am very social and I like to make others feel comfortable. I am a musician as well as a sports person. I’ve been playing the drums since the age of 7 and the piano for about 3 years. I play every Sunday at my church and can also teach these instruments. I used to run for a local sports club and compete for them on a county level. This helped me a lot with team work and also leadership.
