One of my favourite things to do is helping people learn. And not just forcefully learning and memorising, but learning in a way they understand. Learning in a way easiest and least challenging for them as an individual. I love teaching Maths because I think it’s amazing how there are so many different ways to get to the correct answer. So even if you might not understand how one way works, that’s absolutely okay because that’s not the only way to the answer. Whichever way works for you in understanding how to get to the answer, is the way we’ll figure out and work with together. And once we do it together, you’ll have the confidence and knowledge to do it independently. That being said, I also love Biology and Chemistry because science is also great. And believe it or not, but the answers are usually easier to find than you’d think. Whether you're wanting to excel and get the top grade, or wanting to pass a subject you're not really in love with, I think everyone has the potential to achieve what they want and continue to advance forward in life. Including you. Whether you believe it or not, you have the potential and ability to succeed. Even if you might need a little help or nudge in seeing that ability, that’s absolutely fine – and I would love to be that person to help give you that encouragement in seeing your potential. I enjoy DIY projects and making stuff from scratch. From cookies to shampoo, I like to experiment and see what works. I've recently started to sew some projects and crochet! I have been a private tutor in Spain since 2016 to students from the equivalent to 9º GSCE to first year undergraduates. My strongest subjects are, without a doubt, on the science branch. I have studied Physics in Seville, spent an Erasmus in Pavia (Italy) and organized and participated in the first student congress of my faculty (CEFIMUS). I have a C1 in English and learned Italian during my stay abroad. My focus when I teach is on providing a welcoming environment where the student can feel free to explore and question what is taught so that natural curiosity can develop and he/she leaves the class with more confidence and autonomy.

Hi there! I'm Annie, university student currently completing my final year of Primary Education with QTS, with a huge passion for teaching. I am particularly experienced in teaching maths and English to children aged 5-11, and have taught across both the north east and west of England, also teaching English to children aged 5-14 in both north and south Italy, with a high level of knowledge in this subject as I have achieved GCSEs in both maths and English across AQA and Edexcel exam boards and A's in both English language and literature at A level qualification. I love travelling, teaching and playing piano! I am committed to providing a fun, friendly and engaging learning experience for children, always bringing a positive 'can do' attitude to every lesson.
