I am an experienced educator with over fifteen years in teaching and mentoring, now specialising in English, Psychology, and Sociology up to A-level. My academic background includes a BA in Sociology, a diploma in Counselling, ACCHP accreditation, and I am currently completing a Master’s in Psychology at the University of Portsmouth. This academic journey, combined with my teaching experience, allows me to provide learners with both subject expertise and practical strategies to achieve success. Helping others has always been something Ive tried to do wherever possible and is one of the main reasons why Ive tutored in the past and also why I want to become a Doctor. I am a determined and goal orientated individual who enjoys achieving fulfilment through completing tasks and activities. I can be quite competitive but never to mine or my teams detriment as the greater goal always outweighs personal gain. Football, swimming, cricket and basketball are some of my favourite sports and I like to believe that my love of sports and playing them has increased my communication, cooperation and leadership skills. I think a lot of the attributes I have developed through roles and experiences I have had in life can help me achieve success both as a tutor and hopefully as a future Doctor.
