I specialise in Maths and 11+ preparation, supporting students of all abilities to feel calm, capable, and motivated. My background as a learning support assistant taught me how to break complex ideas into clear, manageable steps — especially for learners who struggle with confidence or anxiety around maths. I use interactive methods, games, and real-life examples to keep lessons fun and memorable. Above all, I believe progress starts with encouragement, and I aim to create lessons where students feel supported, proud of their effort, and inspired to keep improving. I studied Psychology at university, where I developed a strong understanding of how students learn and how confidence impacts performance. My studies helped me recognise that progress isn’t just about intelligence — it’s about mindset and approach. Before that, I achieved three A-Levels and gained hands-on experience working in schools as a learning support assistant, supporting students across maths, English, and general study skills. I’m now planning to continue my studies in Marketing and Business Management, combining my interest in psychology and communication with a passion for helping others grow and reach their potential. This mix of academic study and practical classroom experience has shaped my calm, supportive teaching style, helping me identify learning gaps quickly and adapt lessons to each student’s needs.

I am a final year biotechnology student at the University of Nottingham who has a passion for science and writing. I am a qualified teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English. I currently teach Grade 1 learners in South Africa. I believe that learning should be fun and encourage a holistic development. I enjoy reading and hiking. I also enjoy trying out different kinds of food. I completed my matric at Wordsworth High school, thereafter I enrolled for Hospitality Studies at the International Hotel School and graduated in 2017. I further enrolled at the University of KwaZulu Natal for my BEd Degree and specialized in the Foundation Phase. I am currently a Foundation Phase teacher and teach Grade 1 learners. I am also currently studying for my Honors Degree at the University of Pretoria specializing in Learner Support.

In Math, I cover topics from basic arithmetic to algebra, geometry, and statistics at GCSE, and focus on core mathematics and mechanics at A-Level. I particularly enjoy working with primary and GCSE students. Known as "Reyzzle," my passion for teaching was sparked by an educator who inspired my love for learning. I aim to motivate students to reach their goals. Outside of teaching, I enjoy baking, traveling, and singing, which help me maintain a balanced life. I am a licensed Professional Teacher and a Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Biology graduate, awarded Cum Laude. My academic background has not only deepened my expertise in biology but also provided me with a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. In addition to my degree, I hold a TEFL certificate, which has further developed my communication skills and equipped me to effectively engage with students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. In the classroom, I specialize in teaching mathematics, with a focus on simplifying complex topics and helping students build both confidence and understanding.
