I'm currently a student at the University of York studying electronic and electrical engineering. I also studied maths and further maths at A-level achieving A* A respectively. About me: Hi there! I'm Luke and I am a tutor of French (up to A-level), English Literature and Language (up to GCSE). I have been tutoring online since May 2021, and I have lots of experience helping students to reach their goals and realise their true potential. I'm currently studying at Sorbonne Université in Paris. and I'm incredibly enthusiastic about learning, travelling and getting to know people of all backgrounds. I'm a fluent speaker of French, having also previously lived in Québec. I believe in tailoring tutoring sessions to students' specific needs, and I also believe that it is impossible to learn effectively if you aren't enjoying the process of learning itself. I've excelled at English from a young age and have won writing competitions in categories from prose to poetry. I've had a piece published in The Guardian and have had my poems selected for multiple readings. I've also worked part-time as a professional artist and a screen actor since I was 16. In my free time, I make and release my own music. I graduated with a first class drama degree from the University of Manchester in 2022. I'm now doing a masters in film at the University of Salford. I'm a straight-A English, Drama and Art student and have trained with the Glasgow School of Art and the Scottish Youth Theatre.
