I hold a Master of Science (MSc) in Molecular Biotechnology from the University of Hertfordshire (2021–2022), where I developed an in-depth understanding of molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, and protein science. My academic journey was complemented by extensive hands-on experience in research methods, laboratory techniques, and bioinformatics. Prior to my master’s, I earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Biotechnology from Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering & Technology, graduating in 2021. Currently, I serve as a freelance Scientific Assistant at Protlab GPL Limited, where I assist in research, data collection, analysis, and report writing under the guidance of senior scientists. Alongside this, I actively tutor students in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and English through platforms like Tutor Cambridge and freelance services. I was born in Cologne, Germany. I live now in Cornwall in the UK. I also lived 10 years in Amsterdam where I studied Fine Art. I hold a PGCE teaching qualification and a Level 3 certificate in English and Math. I am learning Swedish on my Duolingo app as I really enjoy learning new languages:) In my free time I enjoy making furniture pieces out of various woods. I like sports as well, especially racket sports like table tennis and tennis. I hold a PGCE qualification from Cornwall College Camborne. I also hold a Level 3 certificate in English and Math. I have a BA Hons on Fine Arts, a Level 2 Media Technician certificate and I did my A-Levels in German, Math, Biology and Art. I also hold a Level 2 certificate in Furniture Making.

Hello. I'm Debs, nice to meet you. I tutor a range of subjects, all based on experience of teaching within school, college and less tradiitional settings. I love tutoring one to one as that is the best way to give the student exactly what they need. I teach Sociology, Business and English at GCSE and A level and I have experience of AQA and Edexcel exam boards. I have also taught Btec Business level 1-3 In 2023 I completed a Master's degree in Philosophy as I love learning new things just as much as I love to teach. I make learning fun wherever possible and tailor every lesson to the student's needs. I use a variety of methods so you won't get bored and I am always happy to answer questions and re-explain things. There's no such thing as a silly question! I’m a first-year Business student at Nottingham and an International Baccalaureate graduate, offering friendly and reliable tutoring. I understand exam pressure and workload, and I help students build confidence, clear understanding, and strong study habits. Alongside academics, I’ve represented Scotland at U21 netball, so I bring discipline, motivation, and a positive attitude to every session. I studied at Wellington College, where I achieved strong GCSE results with grades 7–9 across my subjects and took on a demanding academic and co‑curricular workload. I then completed the International Baccalaureate, scoring 39 points, including high marks in my higher‑level subjects.
