Hello, I’m Isabella, I’m 19 and currently studying Journalism at the University of Sheffield. I will be tutoring children to prepare them for the 11+ exams. I completed my A-levels at Hills road sixth form college in Cambridge where I studied English, History, Sociology and completed an EPQ. I volunteer for action tutor and hope to help others with their studies. I am currently a first year Psychology student at the University of Manchester, with a strong passion for the subject. I am passionate about helping students not only understand the subject, but also to excel in it. My teaching involves breaking down complex ideas clearly, allowing for full engagement. I aim to build a supportive and encouraging learning environment to help students truly excel, as building confidence is equally as important as building academic skills. I understand each student learns differently, so I aim to tailor each lesson to the needs of each individual student to build on their own strengths, allowing them to achieve their goals! My name is Saffron, and I am a 2nd year Neuroscience student at the University of Manchester. Getting into this course at a Russel Group University required stellar GCSE and A Level grades which I was able to achieve through thorough and dedicated studies and personal teaching. I believe that active learning through frequent recall, question and answer sessions and flashcards is the best way to retain information. Combining this with practice paper questions from the start of teaching guarantees success. I am well versed in working with primary and secondary school students through 1 to 1 teaching and am committed to creating an interactive, personalised, and enjoyable lesson plan catered to every pupil's learning style. Hi, I'm a 24 year old economics student at the university of Liverpool. I teach maths, economics, chemistry and biology. My areas of interest, outside of economics, are football and F1. In my free time I enjoy reading, running, watching movies and television. I am studying economics at the University of Liverpool. I studied chemistry (A) physics (B) and maths (A*) at A-level. As well as this I taught myself an AS level in further maths (B). I am constantly trying to improve my knowledge as well in my free time.
