But I have 3+ years of tutoring experience so I know how to help you unlock your greatest potential, by providing you with 1-2-1 tutoring, resources, practice questions and exam tips + tricks, whilst simultaneously providing a tailored learning experience best suited to you and your learning style. As a student who is also a tutor, I completely understand the school pressure, toxic environments and negativity that surrounds exams and learning, but I’m here to show you that learning is truly fun when you know what you’re doing! Hi, I'm Evie, I'm 21 years old and currently studying Biomedical Science at Nottingham Trent University. I achieved a grade 9 in biology, chemistry and maths at GCSE, and I am looking forward to helping you do your best! I want to work together to tailor your tutoring experience to what you need the most. ◡̈ I attended Newcastle-under-Lyme School and NULS Sixth Form. At NULS, I achieved grade 8 in English language and PE, and a 7 in Spanish, with distinction in speaking. I achieved a grade 9 in all other GCSEs, including triple science and an extra GCSE in further maths. At A-level, I received a C in biology, chemistry, and maths and an A at AS level Photography. Welcome to my profile. I teach 11+, GCSE Science (physics, chemistry, and biology), and Mathematics. I use notes and revision resources that have been carefully tailored to each student's specific needs. With their exam board content, revision/practice questions, and particularly repeated past papers, I have been able to instill confidence, critical thinking, and a genuine understanding of the subject in all of my students while ensuring they enjoy the process. I look forward to beginning this journey with you. I have over 4 years (1000+ hours) of experience teaching these subjects: GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), Mathematics, and 11+. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering and an international teaching certificate (TESOL). I bring both academic expertise and practical teaching experience to my lessons.
