I am a qualified teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English. I currently teach Grade 1 learners in South Africa. I believe that learning should be fun and encourage a holistic development. I enjoy reading and hiking. I also enjoy trying out different kinds of food. I completed my matric at Wordsworth High school, thereafter I enrolled for Hospitality Studies at the International Hotel School and graduated in 2017. I further enrolled at the University of KwaZulu Natal for my BEd Degree and specialized in the Foundation Phase. I am currently a Foundation Phase teacher and teach Grade 1 learners. I am also currently studying for my Honors Degree at the University of Pretoria specializing in Learner Support.

I am an extremely enthusiastic and positive person. I currently teach English early years, Primary school/Reception year. SEND Primary and Highschool and ESL, with over 25 years experience. Patience is my middle name. I am an energetic and a fun teacher. Using a variety of methods including: auditory, visual, reading/writing, verbal and kinaesthetic movement. I look forward to meeting you, my future student. My academic journey started after high school and continues to present. Studying and learning never stops. It is a part of self growth. I actively ensure I continuously follow CLP. Fields of teaching include: English Reception year, English Primary school, English Primary and Highschool for SEN, SEND and ALN students who are looking to improve their skills in English. I also teach English as a Second language and Business English. An achievement of mine was when one of my students won GOLD at the Shanghai Special Olympics. In January 2025, GoStudent have added AI to GoClass. AI training was completed and is boosting tutoring outcomes.

I am a passionate and dedicated tutor currently studying Economics in my first year at university. I teach Economics, Spanish and A-level and GCSE Maths, bringing both academic excellence and a dynamic approach to every lesson. With two years of experience as an 11+ Maths and English tutor at Test Teach, I have developed a strong ability to engage I went to Sutton Grammar School where I got 11 9s in my GCSEs including maths, English language, English literature and Spanish. I achieved 3 A*s and an A in my A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Spanish. I am a first year economics student.

My goal is to spark curiosity, build confidence, and help every student discover the joy of learning math. Outside the classroom, I enjoy playing volleyball, which keeps me energized, focused, and ready to bring creativity into each lesson. I hold a degree in Civil Engineering, majoring in Construction Engineering and Management, where I developed a strong foundation in mathematical principles along with effective teaching strategies and classroom management skills. My academic experience equipped me to design engaging lessons, adapt to diverse learning styles, and cultivate a supportive environment where every student is encouraged to succeed.
