With over 60 students in 2024, I’ve developed a unique program that addresses both the theoretical and practical aspects of language and literature studies. Over the past 3 years, I’ve helped more than 110 students achieve at least a grade 7 in their GCSEs. Simply put, I know what I'm doing. In addition to my expertise in language and literature, I’ve also excelled in physics, consistently achieving strong results and helping students grasp complex concepts with ease. About Me Language is not just a tool for communication, it's rather a reflection of how we see ourselves, our world and culture. I recently published my thesis on sexism and gender bias to help promote social justice by teaching politically correct language. In light of my recent research I learned that each student has a unique mind and uses different techniques to learn. Hence, my responsibility entails guiding each individual to unlock their complete potential. I'm currently undertaking an integrated masters in Engineering Science at the University of Oxford. I achieved A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry A-level, and also in EPQ (which is a form of assessed personal project that many schools encourage pupils to take to strengthen their university applications). I have also studied and taken Oxford's Physics Aptitude Test (the PAT), which is a prerequisite for Physics and Engineering at Oxford. Currently studying MEng at the University of Oxford Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) A* A levels: A*A*A*A* in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry (i)GCSE: 9s in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Latin, French and English language. I’m a uni student at the university of Nottingham who loves to help others by using my own education experiences to do so. I consider myself outgoing and I love to meet and talk to new people in all contexts. I like to think that I am a confident and hard working person who is able to convey ideas across and explain things clearly. These skills and attributes, I feel make me a great fit for being a personal tutor. My hobbies include sports such as football, skiing and motorsports amongst many others, as well as travel and generally anything car related. I am currently at the university of Nottingham studying geography with business. For my A-levels I studied geography, government and politics and music. I found these subjects very helpful in gaining a broad knowledge in various disciplines. Both geography and politics are subjects which allowed me to develop points effectively and convey a compelling argument, as well as widening my scope of knowledge. I think my academical past will aid me greatly in helping others with their studies.
