My names Sonique and I am currently in my second year of studying Dentistry at the University of Manchester. I attended a grammar school where I studied A-level Biology, Chemsitry and Mathematics and achieved A*AA in these subjects. My journey in education has equipped me with the knowledge and skills needed to make learning engaging and effective. I enjoy helping students grasp challening concepts and achieve their academic goals. I tailor each lesson and my teaching methods to the individual student to fit the students needs and maximise learning efficicency.

Hello! My name is Aivy Louise, and I'm a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher with five years of enriching teaching experience. I hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate, which has equipped me with effective strategies for teaching English as a foreign language. I am also a licensed professional teacher in my home country. My passion for education drives me to create engaging and inclusive learning environments where students feel motivated and empowered to reach their full potential. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with diverse groups of learners, tailoring my teaching methods to meet their unique needs and learning styles. I have experienced teaching English to students from Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Valencia, Korea, China, and Taiwan. I have taught grammar, literature, conversational English, business English, Travel English, and English as a Foreign Language. I firmly believe in the transformative power of education and am committed to making a positive impact in my students' lives. Currently a cover supply at a school therefore I am up to date with new and current maths and GCSE all science . I have been tutoring maths and all sciences for 7 years. I have experience working with ages from 5-16 and also experienced working with SEN students. Throughout the pandemic, I have been tutoring online, therefore, having an understanding of how to keep students engaged . I also teach 11+ to students who would like to join grammar schools and independent schools and private schools.

I am currently completing a PhD in Economics at NTU. As such I have deep subject knowledge and a profound understanding of mathematical and quantitative methods. I have studied and tutored A-level and undergraduate Mathematics and Economics in successful peer-mentoring programmes, utilising my skills to help struggling students attain their goals. Alongside my studies, I also deliver lectures and seminars to undergraduate students and supervise undergraduates and masters students. Further to this, I have also worked with students with learning difficulties to improve their basic mathematics. I am personable in my teaching and so I employ patience and discussion to ensure a thorough and comprehensive understanding of subject content. I am able to recognise when a concept is not understood and present it in various ways to suit the student and assist in understanding. I then help students apply this to problems to ensure a deep understanding of subject matter. I call on previously taught concepts to build on foundation knowledge in order to (a) consolidate previously learned material and (b) assist in the understanding of more complex concepts.
