About me: I am a Taiwanese girl living in South Africa. I am able to speak both English and Mandarin fluently. I have worked as a translator and tour interpreter for Mandarin speaking delegates before and I have been living in South Africa for 20+ years. I am able to teach English from beginner stage up to advanced level. I prefer teaching students between the ages of 12 to 18. I also have experience in teaching English to adults. I love reading novels in my spare time and I love watching anime and reading manga. I studied Homoeopathy at Durban University of Technology and graduated with a Master of Technology degree in Homoeopathy. I have been teaching Traditional Chinese online for more than a year now and have obtained a Level 5 TEFL course from TEFL Academy with Qualifi certification. Hi! My name is Lucia Valero and I am a third year Chemical Engineering student at the University of Aberdeen. I have taught Maths from primary to S4 level for a year. I try to keep lessons light and as engaging by possible, always working through examples and really encourage students to think independently as they are often capable of more than they realize. (I am not interested in teaching Spanish at the moment) Spanish is my first language, and I am familiar with the process of learning a second language so I am confident in teaching it. I find that usually reading and conversation are the best ways to learn a language and achieve fluidity but I can adapt to each student's needs.

Hi, I am Naomi and I am thrilled to be your online tutor. I have had the pleasure of working with students from different ages and backgrounds. I am a tutor for Mathematics and my target students are primary to secondary students. Everyone has a unique learning style, and I like to adapt my teaching approach to meet each student’s needs. I use the online interactive whiteboard for lessons which allows both parties to write, annotate or highlight on the screen. The work for every lesson is carefully designed to suit each individual's need which is identified from initial assessment and ongoing observations.
