ABOUT ME I have a deep interest in history, human and physical geography, anthropology, technology, architecture and engineering. I especially enjoy the history and geography of languages and language families. In my free time I am a keen traveler, audiophile and technophile, with a love for all kinds of technologies, analogue and digital, new and old. Thanks to COVID I learnt a lot of DIY skills by necessity. My house also has a garden full of fruit trees, so I guess that would make me an amateur gardener by default. I try to keep fit by cycling when possible, but my favourite sport is swimming. TEACHING EXPERIENCE/PREFERENCES The subjects I teach are History, English Literature and Language, as well as TEFL English. I tend to teach students aged 14+, so from Year 9 to Year 13 or older, but I do have a few students younger than this. I cover mainly GCSE's and A-level's, as well as TEFL English for any age if these students happen to come up. I use a variety of teaching approaches, ranging from traditional methods of text analysis to modern forms of teaching, such as interactive quizzes, questionairres and even YouTube videos if they benefit the students learning style. Exam Board Experience: AQA, Edexcel and OCR in the main. WJEC/Eduqas to a lesser extent. Languages:- English: as a first language to advanced level. Turkish: fluent to college level.

Mechanical Engineer, incredibly passionate about teaching, precisely Mathematics; -LC/A-level Math (I would love to have A-level trials as a priority for now if possible) -JC/GCSE Math - primary level Math(11+) Languages: English, French, Arabic Having a couple of years of experience, I find that it's extremely efficient to build a genuine friendly relationship with my students accompanied with respect, the right ethical mannerism, and last but not least, pleasure, because learning is highly interesting when the tutor is ready and thrilled to deliver his absolute best in the most suitable way. I am glad that I now have a one year of GoStudent experience with over a thousand completed sessions, consequently, I know what it takes for a student to be interested in an online session and how make him/her feel welcomed and non-hesitant about asking any question that comes to mind. I would love to focus on taking A-level students at the moment. I successfully completed my A-levels back in 2018, and I'm currently a mechanical engineering student in university, aiming to gain simultaneous work experience in both engineering and online tutoring. My academic background includes a strong foundation in core subjects such as mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Additionally, I have pursued specialized coursework in engineering principles and mechanical systems, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of the field.

Hello, I'm George! I recently graduated with a First Class Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Natural Sciences, and I work as a Science and Spanish Teacher. Science is all around us we live and breathe it every day and understanding chemical processes helps us to understand the world better, and that's why I love it. The classes I excelled in were always the ones I enjoyed the most and this was largely influenced by my teachers and professors. I had some fantastic teachers who taught chemistry in such an engaging and creative way and spoke with passion for their discipline. I hope to bring the same enthusiasm and knowledge to my tutoring sessions. I would like to teach the students in a way that they learn best and use a mixture of lesson plans and student influence to then go on and explicitly teach the material. I will ensure the students have time to practice the material on their own. But this can all be altered depending on the student's needs. I love the Spanish culture and I have been fortunate to visit this country many times, I have been studying this great language since GCSE. I have lots of experience tutoring Spanish GCSE. I like to ensure that there is the right balance of doing exam-style exercises to practise whilst also immersing them into aspects of the culture through doing, speaking, writing and listening to passages about a variety of different parts of Spanish culture and not just what is on the specification to really instil a love for the language and culture. I tutor GCSE and Ks3 Spanish, Chemistry, Physics and Biology, and Maths. I also teach A-level Chemistry and Spanish. I have experience working one on one, face-to-face, and online. Experience with AQA, OCR, and Edexcel. I have tutored students during exam periods and throughout the school year. Some students may need a bit of extra help so they don't get behind in class, and some may be aiming for a specific grade. Either way, I can adapt the session to the student's needs. I am a big football/sports fan I love going to watch tennis and football and support my local club Reading FC, I enjoy playing video games, travelling camping, and hiking. I also have a goldfish fish called Flounder who lives in my pond. Qualifications: GCSE in Spanish, Chemistry, Biology Maths, Physics, and English. A-level in Chemistry, Spanish and an AS in Applied Business, B-TEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Applied Science ( a blend of chemistry, biology, and physics). Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Natural Sciences.

Hi there! I have over 4 years experience tutoring a range of subjects. My specialties are maths, physics, chemistry and Spanish, which I've mostly taught at A-Level and GCSE tiers. I have a BA in mathematics which I studied alongside tutoring, so I can appreciate teaching from both sides of the classroom. Much of my experience revolves around helping students to prepare for exams, and working through past papers together is an invaluable tool for this. I'm also very passionate about my subjects, with STEM I've always had a deep personal interest in how the Universe works, and I've always loved Spain and seeing how the logic in different languages works. I enjoy explaining what I know to others, which puts me in a good position to be a tutor. It's also great to see students progressing over time. My tutoring method is based around giving the student the tools they need and guiding them to solve problems themselves, rather than simply being told the answers. I believe this process helps students to learn how to think critically, and thus become more independent and able to solve problems on their own in the future. Some of my hobbies include hiking with my dog, learning languages and exploring new places! BA in mathematics

Levels and Subjects: Lower Level: Maths, English, French GCSE: English, French A-Level/IB: English, French Exam Board Experience: AQA, Edexcel, 11+, WJEC Languages: English (native), French (fluent) SEND Experience: Worked with students with complex needs in a sixth form college, including students with Autism, ADHD, Tourette's syndrome, dyslexia, anxiety, and other sensory needs Preferred age group: GCSE and A-Level, however am happy to work with Primary as well. About me: I'm a recent university graduate trying to find my place in the world. I have worked in a sixth form college where I cultivated my love for teaching and learning, as well as supporting young people in complex situations thorugh their education. I know what it's like to be an outsider; I'm neurodivergent and I lived in France for six months as a part of my degree. I want to help others who feel as though they don't fit in to have success and joy in what they do. I have a ton of hobbies, more than I can really keep up with, including: creative writing, reading, crochet, video gaming, dungeons and dragons, digital art, video editing, singing - and these are just the ones I'm focusing on at the moment! In school I was always an active member of the student voice community, and this continued into university where I was the academic president for Modern Languages and Linguistics and ACIS (for international students). I worked hard to ensure that my colleagues had the support that they needed to succeed. I was also on the committee for the creative writing society, which brought me a lot of joy throughout my time at university. I am looking to eventually get a teaching qualification, as I would love to be able to support learners throughout my life.
