I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics, in 2013 and later completed a Master of Education in Mathematics in 2018. With a decade of teaching experience, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to reach their full academic potential. I utilize a variety of instructional techniques and materials, including online resources, to accommodate diverse learning styles and ensure that each student has the tools they need to succeed. My approach focuses on guiding students toward their educational goals, whether transitioning to postsecondary education, pursuing vocational paths, or achieving personal growth. I continuously assess and document both the academic and social progress of my students, maintaining thorough records and analyzing data to inform my teaching strategies. Soy traductora y profesora de inglés desde hace más de 15 años. Trabajo como freelance, por lo que mi disponibilidad horaria es flexible. He vivido y trabajado en países angloparlantes durante más de 20 años, principalmente en el Reino Unido, pero también en Estados Unidos y Australia. Me especializo exclusivamente en alumnos adultos (universitarios, profesionales, etc.) y mis clases se adaptan a sus necesidades individuales, utilizando también (cuando es posible) técnicas de coaching lingüístico. Igualmente, imparto clases y cursos de ESP (English for Specific Purposes) o inglés para fines específicos, destinados a alumnos que necesitan enfocar el aprendizaje del idioma a su campo profesional, como abogados, miembros de las Fuerzas y Cuerpos de Seguridad del Estado, administrativos, etc. Por otro lado, cuento con varios años de experiencia en la preparación de exámenes oficiales, principalmente en los niveles B2, C1 y C2. Además de inglés, hablo francés y japonés. Tengo estudios de Filología Inglesa y también un grado en Traducción e Interpretación, así como un Máster en Letras Digitales. Tengo un certificado de nivel C2 de inglés (Cambridge Proficiency) y el título de profesora de inglés como lengua extranjera, TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), con especialidad en aprendizaje de adultos. Cuento, además, con el título de Teaching English Online, impartido por Cambridge Assessment English, específico para formadores de inglés en línea. También he realizado numerosos cursos de especialización lingüística en inglés para la enseñanza en distintos ámbitos profesionales.

Hi, I’m Nicole, an energetic and passionate English teacher! I love helping students learn language in interesting and creative ways. I use engaging discussions, interactive activities, and hands-on projects to help them connect with the lessons and express themselves confidently. My goal is to build a classroom environment that is fun, inclusive, and encouraging for every learner. I believe that learning should be meaningful and enjoyable, and I do my best to make each class exciting and supportive. In my free time, I enjoy watching musical theatre shows and Broadway musicals, spending time with my dog, and volunteering with an organization dedicated to rescuing and caring for stray animals. These hobbies keep me motivated and full of positive energy in the classroom. I graduated with a degree in Communication Arts. My education equipped me with strong communication skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of media and interpersonal dynamics. Throughout my teaching journey, I have taught students of various age groups—from children to adults—across different English proficiency levels. I have also had the opportunity to work with learners with special needs, including those with ADHD, Autism, and Down Syndrome.
