Mi nombre es Marina y tengo 19 años, he vivido toda mi vida en Terrassa, una ciudad al lado de Barcelona. Soy una persona a la que le gusta bailar y jugar a pádel. Me describiría a mí misma cómo una persona empática y curiosa. También considero que soy comunicativa y resolutiva. Nacida en el año 2004, comencé mis estudios en la escuela llamada "Vedruna Vall" situada en Terrassa. Toda mi formación la hice en esta escuela y realicé el bachillerato científico, ya que me apasionan las ciencias. Actualmente, estoy cursando mi tercer año de biomedicina.

My name is Arcel, and I’m 29 years old. I'm a Math teacher but I can also teach Science (Biology & Chemistry) and Sociology. I like also playing basketball and guitar—two activities that allow me to express myself creatively and stay active. Whether it’s on the basketball court or playing my favorite songs, I enjoy the challenge and the connections these hobbies bring. I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education, Majoring in Mathematics (BSED-Math), and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Teaching Mathematics. My journey in education is driven by my passion for mathematics and my desire to help students see the beauty in the subject. Teaching is something I’m deeply committed to, and I believe that with patience and the right approach, I can inspire students to develop a love for learning. In terms of character, I would describe myself as persistent and disciplined. I try to approach challenges with a positive attitude and always look for ways to grow, both personally and professionally. I value hard work, teamwork, and the idea of never giving up, whether it's in sports or academics. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics (BSED-Math) from Northern Mindanao Colleges Inc. in April 2016. Shortly after, I successfully passed the licensure examination for teachers in September 2016. Currently, I am furthering my education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Teaching Mathematics. My passion for mathematics and my dedication to education drive me to help students discover the beauty and relevance of the subject. Teaching is a profession I am deeply committed to, as I believe it is through education that I can make a lasting impact on students' lives. My goal as an educator is not only to help students master mathematical concepts but also to inspire them to develop a genuine interest in the subject. I understand that many students find math challenging, which is why I believe that patience and the right approach are key to helping them overcome obstacles. Soy traductora y profesora de inglés desde hace más de 15 años. Trabajo como freelance, por lo que mi disponibilidad horaria es flexible. He vivido y trabajado en países angloparlantes durante más de 20 años, principalmente en el Reino Unido, pero también en Estados Unidos y Australia. Me especializo exclusivamente en alumnos adultos (universitarios, profesionales, etc.) y mis clases se adaptan a sus necesidades individuales, utilizando también (cuando es posible) técnicas de coaching lingüístico. Igualmente, imparto clases y cursos de ESP (English for Specific Purposes) o inglés para fines específicos, destinados a alumnos que necesitan enfocar el aprendizaje del idioma a su campo profesional, como abogados, miembros de las Fuerzas y Cuerpos de Seguridad del Estado, administrativos, etc. Por otro lado, cuento con varios años de experiencia en la preparación de exámenes oficiales, principalmente en los niveles B2, C1 y C2. Además de inglés, hablo francés y japonés. Tengo estudios de Filología Inglesa y también un grado en Traducción e Interpretación, así como un Máster en Letras Digitales. Tengo un certificado de nivel C2 de inglés (Cambridge Proficiency) y el título de profesora de inglés como lengua extranjera, TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), con especialidad en aprendizaje de adultos. Cuento, además, con el título de Teaching English Online, impartido por Cambridge Assessment English, específico para formadores de inglés en línea. También he realizado numerosos cursos de especialización lingüística en inglés para la enseñanza en distintos ámbitos profesionales.

Hi! I am Lyka Anne I. Gabuat, I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education degree, specializing in Teaching Mathematics to middle school and high school students. For 6 years, I have taught math courses to senior high school students, specifically Calculus, Statistics and Probabilities and General Mathematics. I also have a short but extensive experience teaching IB, A-level and IGCSE math’ through an after-school program in China. At present, I am an online private tutor catering students who are struggling in mathematics. At present, I’m a freelance private math tutor. I like to see my students have fun as they learn new ideas and concepts. I believe that every student is unique, and it's our responsibility as educators to nurture their individual strengths and help them reach their full potential. I graduated from University of Baguio, Philippines last may of 2016 and got my teaching license the same year. I worked in the same University from August 2016 - December 2022 as Senior High School math teacher. I went to China in the following year to tutor International students and come back for personal reasons. At the moment, I'm a freelance Math tutor catering primary school to senior high school students thru online and face-to-face platform. I am also a unit earner (25 units) in Masters in Education Major in Mathematics. In addition, I have B2 level Certificate in International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
