Hi! My name is Juliana Gualteros and I am a Biomedical Engineering student in my tenth semester at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada. Throughout my academic journey, mathematics has been a fundamental part of my training, helping me develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills. I have experience as a university tutor, where I supported students in understanding complex topics and building confidence in their abilities. This experience taught me that every student learns differently, and that patience, clarity, and encouragement are key to effective learning. As a tutor, my goal is not only to help students solve math problems, but also to help them truly understand the concepts behind them. I believe that with the right guidance, practice, and support, any student can improve their skills and gain confidence in mathematics. I work with primary and secondary students and adapt my teaching methods to each student’s pace and learning style. I enjoy creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing academically. I am currently a tenth-semester Biomedical Engineering student at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada. Throughout my academic training, I have developed a strong foundation in mathematics, including algebra, calculus, statistics, and applied mathematical reasoning, which are essential tools in engineering and scientific analysis. During my studies, I also worked as a university tutor, supporting other students in understanding complex topics and strengthening their problem-solving skills. This experience allowed me to develop clear communication, patience, and the ability to explain difficult concepts in a structured and accessible way. In addition to my academic work, I have been actively involved in research activities. I have received two Meritorious Mention awards at research seedbed meetings—one at the national level and another at the international level—recognizing the quality and impact of my research. I was also a speaker at the VI International Seminar on Autism, where I presented work related to biomedical engineering and neuroscience. I have also completed training in Advanced Excel and Power BI, which has strengthened my data analysis and visualization skills, allowing me to work effectively with numerical information and present complex data in a clear and organized way. My educational background has helped me approach mathematics not only from a theoretical perspective but also from a practical one, allowing me to show students how mathematical concepts can be applied to real-life situations.

Yo estudié ingeniería en mecatrónica Doy clases de matemáticas a nivel primaria y tengo experiencia en clases particulares. Además, las matemáticas son mi materia favorita. También doy clases de inglés y alemán. He vivido año y medio en Alemania y tengo nivel C1 en ambos idiomas. También doy clases de física y química. En mis ratos libres, toco el piano. Estudié ingeniería Mecatrónica en el Tec de Monterrey campus Aguascalientes. Hice prácticas en Alemania y mi tesis consistió en realizar una simulación de una cortadora de tubos de cobre. Además hice un proyecto de un robot que detecta emociones de las personas por medio de una cámara y juega piedra-papel o tijeras con las personas

Soy estudiante de ingeniería en quinto semestre, con una sólida base en matemáticas y una gran pasión por la enseñanza. He apoyado a estudiantes de diferentes niveles, desde primaria hasta secundaria, ayudándolos a comprender los conceptos de forma clara, práctica y adaptada a su ritmo de aprendizaje. Me enfoco en construir bases sólidas y en que cada estudiante gane confianza en sus habilidades, ya que considero que entender el “por qué” es clave para avanzar en matemáticas. Mis clases son dinámicas, estructuradas y orientadas a resultados, buscando siempre que el estudiante participe activamente y logre avances desde la primera sesión. Además, me adapto a las necesidades y objetivos de cada estudiante, ya sea refuerzo escolar, preparación para exámenes o mejora general en la materia. Actualmente soy estudiante de ingeniería, donde he desarrollado una sólida base en matemáticas, lógica y resolución de problemas. A lo largo de mi formación académica he fortalecido habilidades en áreas como álgebra, trigonometría y pensamiento analítico, fundamentales para el aprendizaje de matemáticas a distintos niveles. Además de mi formación universitaria, cuento con experiencia apoyando a estudiantes de primaria y secundaria, adaptando los contenidos a sus necesidades y niveles de comprensión. Me especializo en explicar los conceptos de manera clara, estructurada y paso a paso, buscando que los estudiantes no solo resuelvan ejercicios, sino que comprendan realmente los temas. Mi enfoque combina el aprendizaje teórico con la práctica, fomentando la confianza y autonomía del estudiante en la materia.

I am a responsible, analytical, and committed educator who is deeply interested in how language and cognition interact. I enjoy understanding the psychological and neurological processes behind learning, which helps me explain concepts logically rather than relying solely on memorization. In my free time, I enjoy reading, creative hands-on activities such as puzzles and crafts, and exploring topics related to psychology and linguistics. I value creating calm, structured learning environments where students feel heard and motivated. I am a firm believer that learning while having fun significantly enhances the process, as students tend to understand and retain information more naturally when they are genuinely engaged. SENA (Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje) Technical Training in Accounting (4 years) Completed comprehensive coursework in financial accounting, administrative processes, and business fundamentals. This training strengthened my analytical thinking, organization, and attention to detail.
