Soy profesional en Ingeniería Mecánica, me apasiona saber como funciona el mundo. Me encanta enseñar y sé que la teoría puede ser compleja en ocasiones, pero trato de hacerla más fácil y amena. Siempre me aseguro de que los estudiantes comprendan los contenidos, y si tienen dificultades, detengo la clase y explico nuevamente, ya que lo más importante es que no queden dudas. Me gusta usar ejemplos divertidos, pero que también ayuden a entender mejor el tema. Y si tienes una pregunta, no hay problema, ¡pregunta lo que sea! Estoy para ayudarte y para que aprendas de la mejor manera. Soy Ingeniera Mecánica, graduada con honor de la Universidad Autónoma de Manizales, en Colombia. Desde muy temprana edad me ha apasionado el tema de la enseñanza, quizás gracias a la influencia de mi madre quien ha sido docente por más de 30 años, de esta manera he construido mi experiencia en este campo laboral a través de monitorías en la universidad, clases virtuales en GoStudent Colombia y docente presencial en Secundaria, todo lo anterior en áreas relacionadas con matemáticas, física, química y biología, desde niveles de secundaria hasta universitarios. Tengo un titulo en Ingeniería Química de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia y actualmente me encuentro en segundo semestre del Master Internacional en Gestión y Tecnología para la Economía Circular en la Universidad de Oviedo, adicionalmente he realizado cursos en Análisis de Datos, negocios y finanzas en instituciones como Coursera y Ucadademy.

Hello there! I'm Rochelle and I'm excited to be your tutor! I have a degree in Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics and also a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics. I've been a teacher for 6 years now, handling various subjects in Junior High School and Senior High School, age ranging from 10 to 23 years old. I am also an international coach in Mathematics Olympiad. I have a license as a professional teacher which I acquired last 2018. As an educator, my teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student has the potential to excel when given the right support, guidance, and opportunities to learn. I am a Licensed Professional Teacher certified by Professional Regulation Commission with a Degree in Mathematics and 6 years of experience in managing the workplace and classrooms. I have a degree in Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics where I’ve been honing my skills in teaching and further expanding my knowledge in the field of education. I started this journey in 2019, and completed it this September 2024. I earned my degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Mathematics, in 2018. During my time there, I was a Dean’s Lister, demonstrating my passion and dedication to academic excellence. I graduated as Class Valedictorian during my Elementary and Secondary School. In terms of experience, I’ve been teaching as a Senior High School Teacher II since October 2021. I’ve had the opportunity to handle various subjects, including Mathematics, Practical Research, and Accounting related subjects. Before this, I had a brief stint as a substitute teacher in September 2021, and I also taught for three years at Jose Rizal Institute from 2018 to 2021, teaching Mathematics to both junior and senior high school students. I have already attended various trainings and seminars in Mathematics. Aside from that, I won different competitions in Mathematics, the recent was as a winning coach for National Olympiad and set to compete in International Olympiad. Through my experiences in different teaching environments, I’ve developed a strong foundation in instructional methods and a deep commitment to helping students excel in their academic pursuits.
