Estudié inglés en la ciudad de Dublín en el año 2012 y logré un nivel avanzado en el Centre of English Studies. Luego me certifiqué con el C1 de Cambridge en el año 2013 y gracias a exa experiencia es que he podido impartir clases de forma particular.

¡Los idiomas son mi pasión! Como lingüista tengo muchas ganas de ayudar a mis alumnos a alcanzar su mayor potencial durante las clases y enseñarles los mundos que pueden abrirse cuando estudias una lengua nueva :) Algunos de mis hobbies son la lectura y los videojuegos. Además, me gusta el anime y el manga, así como viajar, dibujar, y hacer ganchillo. Por otro lado me apasionan los idiomas y la traducción, ¡también como hobby! Soy empático, comprensivo, y adaptable ;) Soy graduado de Estudios Asiáticos y tengo un máster de Lengua y Literatura Japonesa. Sé español nativo, inglés avanzado/fluido, y japonés intermedio; tengo experiencia como profesor particular en los tres idiomas. Como profesor quiero hacer de mis clases un lugar divertido y desafiante para mis alumnos, así como aprender con ellos.

Actualmente soy ingeniero civil de profesión. Siempre tuve ganas de enseñar y dar clases, siento que es algo que me gusta. En los momentos que tuve oportunidad de enseñar siempre sentí que fueron buenas experiencias. Espero poder ayudar a mis nuevos alumnos en la plataforma y poder resolver las dudas que tengan Asistí al colegio La Salle en Santa Cruz y a la UAGRM también en Santa Cruz, tengo formación preuniversitaria realizada en la UPSA en Santa Cruz de igual manera y ahora soy graduado de ingeniería civil de la UAGRM. Ya terminando mis tramites para obtener el título.

Hi! My name is Juliana Gualteros and I am a Biomedical Engineering student in my tenth semester at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada. Throughout my academic journey, mathematics has been a fundamental part of my training, helping me develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills. I have experience as a university tutor, where I supported students in understanding complex topics and building confidence in their abilities. This experience taught me that every student learns differently, and that patience, clarity, and encouragement are key to effective learning. As a tutor, my goal is not only to help students solve math problems, but also to help them truly understand the concepts behind them. I believe that with the right guidance, practice, and support, any student can improve their skills and gain confidence in mathematics. I work with primary and secondary students and adapt my teaching methods to each student’s pace and learning style. I enjoy creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing academically. I am currently a tenth-semester Biomedical Engineering student at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada. Throughout my academic training, I have developed a strong foundation in mathematics, including algebra, calculus, statistics, and applied mathematical reasoning, which are essential tools in engineering and scientific analysis. During my studies, I also worked as a university tutor, supporting other students in understanding complex topics and strengthening their problem-solving skills. This experience allowed me to develop clear communication, patience, and the ability to explain difficult concepts in a structured and accessible way. In addition to my academic work, I have been actively involved in research activities. I have received two Meritorious Mention awards at research seedbed meetings—one at the national level and another at the international level—recognizing the quality and impact of my research. I was also a speaker at the VI International Seminar on Autism, where I presented work related to biomedical engineering and neuroscience. I have also completed training in Advanced Excel and Power BI, which has strengthened my data analysis and visualization skills, allowing me to work effectively with numerical information and present complex data in a clear and organized way. My educational background has helped me approach mathematics not only from a theoretical perspective but also from a practical one, allowing me to show students how mathematical concepts can be applied to real-life situations.
