Hi, I’m Elaine Bereña, and I specialize in teaching Mathematics. My teaching journey began as part of my return of service for the scholarship I received during my college years. During that time, I taught various Math subjects, including General Mathematics, Pre-Calculus, Basic Calculus, and Statistics and Probability. In addition to my classroom experience, I also provided tutoring services for college students in higher-level mathematics courses, such as Calculus. Currently, I work as a freelance chat-based tutor, continuing to support students with their learning needs in Mathematics. The satisfaction I feel when a student grasps a challenging concept is incredibly rewarding. Soy profesor de inglés con más de 10 años de experiencia en el campo de la enseñanza. Comencé a estudiar inglés desde una edad temprana. A finales de los 90, me mudé a los EE. UU. donde viví durante 10 años. Ahí obtuve mi primer certificado TESOL/TESL en la Universidad Rutgers en Newark, NJ. Después de eso, estudié para convertirme en maestro, obteniendo un certificado como Profesor de Inglés para la EGB 1 y 2 en Buenos Aires, Argentina. He trabajado en escuelas primarias y secundarias, así como con adultos. He enseñado inglés general y de negocios. Soy amigable, fácil de trabajar y creativo.Mi estilo al enseñar se centra principalmente en el aprendiz utilizando el enfoque comunicativo e inductivo. Currently I work two primary schools and I deliver online classes for professionals in the LATAM area.

Me encantan las asignaturas de artes, de letras y sobre todo las de ciencias. La mejor manera de desconectar de todo, es la naturaleza. Me definiría como: paciente, organizada y altruista. Maestra de Educación Primaria y Educación Especial Apta para impartir de primaria hasta la ESO. (francés, catalán, castellano, matemáticas, ciencias...) Soy maestra de Educación Primaria en Tarragona. Mi especialidad es en Educación adaptada a la diversidad. Desde hace años tengo claros mis objetivos académicos y laborales: Dar lo mejor de mi como profesora y persona. Durante la ESO y la primaria, mis notas no eran mejores que las de la media, podríamos decir que incluso en algunas materias como matemáticas eran bajas. Esto encendió las alarmas y puso presión sobre mi para mejorarlas, sin tener en cuenta mis intereses ni mi manera de aprender. Mi objetivo se centra en no perpetuar ese error, adaptándome a cada alumno por lo que respecta a sus pasiones y modelo de aprendizaje más efectivo, siempre adaptando y flexibilizándolo.
