My name is Arcel, and I’m 29 years old. I'm a Math teacher but I can also teach Science (Biology & Chemistry) and Sociology. I like also playing basketball and guitar—two activities that allow me to express myself creatively and stay active. Whether it’s on the basketball court or playing my favorite songs, I enjoy the challenge and the connections these hobbies bring. I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education, Majoring in Mathematics (BSED-Math), and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Teaching Mathematics. My journey in education is driven by my passion for mathematics and my desire to help students see the beauty in the subject. Teaching is something I’m deeply committed to, and I believe that with patience and the right approach, I can inspire students to develop a love for learning. In terms of character, I would describe myself as persistent and disciplined. I try to approach challenges with a positive attitude and always look for ways to grow, both personally and professionally. I value hard work, teamwork, and the idea of never giving up, whether it's in sports or academics. I believe that helping others and being a reliable friend and teacher are some of the most important things I can offer. I strive to be someone who encourages those around me to do their best and reach their full potential. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics (BSED-Math) from Northern Mindanao Colleges Inc. in April 2016. Shortly after, I successfully passed the licensure examination for teachers in September 2016. Currently, I am furthering my education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Teaching Mathematics. My passion for mathematics and my dedication to education drive me to help students discover the beauty and relevance of the subject. Teaching is a profession I am deeply committed to, as I believe it is through education that I can make a lasting impact on students' lives. My goal as an educator is not only to help students master mathematical concepts but also to inspire them to develop a genuine interest in the subject. I understand that many students find math challenging, which is why I believe that patience and the right approach are key to helping them overcome obstacles. With a supportive learning environment, students can build confidence and come to appreciate math as a tool for critical thinking and problem-solving. As I continue my graduate studies, I am gaining deeper insights into effective teaching strategies and educational research, which will further enhance my ability to connect with students. I am passionate about creating a classroom atmosphere that fosters active learning, encourages curiosity, and promotes a love for learning. Soy estudiante de Psicología de la Universidad de Almería. Hice hasta bachillerato en Granada y luego me vine a Almería a seguir formándome. Proactiva, empática y responsable, con experiencia en el trato al público y gestión de personas. Muy trabajadora y constante. Conecto fácilmente con los niños. He trabajado antes dando clases particulares, tengo experiencia impartiéndolas a niños diagnosticados con TDA e hiperactividad. Me gusta seguir enriqueciendo mi conocimiento y siento que en esta plataforma podemos aprender todos de todos. Realicé mis estudios desde Infantil hasta Bachillerato de Ciencias Sociales en Granada, en el colegio Santo Domingo de Guzmán. Posteriormente, me fui a Almería a continuar con mi formación, actualmente estoy cursando el Grado en Psicología. He estudiado inglés y francés, haciendo de este último idioma un intercambio en París, donde conviví con una familia francesa. Estoy capacitada para impartir clases de matemáticas y lengua para Educación Primaria y Secundaria, y economía en Bachillerato.

I've been studying every subject in English since second grade. I like ice skating, dancing and meeting new people. I've already taught english classes and I tried to adapt to the student, we even played games like Kahoots! My friends describe me as funny, social, easy to talk to and nice. I was very good with English, Spanish History, Lengua... All those kind of subjects. Based on my experience, to learn a language, the best way is to practice speaking and writting, and there are many different ways. I've studied in an american school, Aquinas American School (AAS) in which we practiced many different ways of learning.

ABOUT ME Hi, I’m Hermie. As an educator who loves to meet students from diverse backgrounds, I have had the opportunity to teach people from different countries and embrace their cultures. I'm an explorer who loves to travel and connect with nature. I put my utmost effort in making learning fun and engaging to all. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, which has given me a strong foundation in problem-solving, creativity, and analytical thinking. However, my passion for teaching led me to pursue a TESOL certification from the American TESOL Institute. This certification has equipped me with the specialized skills and methodologies needed to effectively conduct lessons. By combining my academic background and my TESOL training, I am able to approach teaching with a unique perspective, drawing on my diverse skill set to create engaging, structured lessons.
