Hello there! I'm Rochelle and I'm excited to be your tutor! I have a degree in Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics and also a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics. I've been a teacher for 6 years now, handling various subjects in Junior High School and Senior High School, age ranging from 10 to 23 years old. I am also an international coach in Mathematics Olympiad. I have a license as a professional teacher which I acquired last 2018. As an educator, my teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student has the potential to excel when given the right support, guidance, and opportunities to learn. My role as a teacher is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel confident to express their ideas, take risks, and explore their potential. I am a Licensed Professional Teacher certified by Professional Regulation Commission with a Degree in Mathematics and 6 years of experience in managing the workplace and classrooms. I have a degree in Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics where I’ve been honing my skills in teaching and further expanding my knowledge in the field of education. I started this journey in 2019, and completed it this September 2024. I earned my degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Mathematics, in 2018. During my time there, I was a Dean’s Lister, demonstrating my passion and dedication to academic excellence. I graduated as Class Valedictorian during my Elementary and Secondary School. In terms of experience, I’ve been teaching as a Senior High School Teacher II since October 2021. I’ve had the opportunity to handle various subjects, including Mathematics, Practical Research, and Accounting related subjects. Before this, I had a brief stint as a substitute teacher in September 2021, and I also taught for three years at Jose Rizal Institute from 2018 to 2021, teaching Mathematics to both junior and senior high school students. I have already attended various trainings and seminars in Mathematics. Aside from that, I won different competitions in Mathematics, the recent was as a winning coach for National Olympiad and set to compete in International Olympiad. Through my experiences in different teaching environments, I’ve developed a strong foundation in instructional methods and a deep commitment to helping students excel in their academic pursuits. Hi there! I’m Lorraine Llagas 👩‍🏫 A Passionate Educator. I’ve spent several years in the teaching profession, with most of my career dedicated to teaching Philosophy at the tertiary level. For the past 8 years, I’ve been sharing my love for Social Science with senior high school students. Outside the classroom, I’m passionate about lifelong learning and personal growth. I enjoy seeking new knowledge and skills, diving into various genres of books, striving for self-improvement, staying active and healthy, and exploring new places and cultures. 🎓 My Educational Journey Graduated from the University of Sto. Soy matemático especializado en estadística aplicada. Mi enfoque utiliza programación y tecnología para hacer un puente entre la geometría y otros conceptos matemáticos, creando elementos gráficos y dinámicos que mejoran la inmersión y destreza del estudiante. A través de este enfoque, mis clases se vuelven más interactivas, permitiendo que los alumnos no solo comprendan los conceptos de manera teórica, sino que también los visualicen y experimenten de forma práctica, logrando una mayor apropiación de los temas y mejorando su confianza en el manejo de la materia. Soy Laboratorista Clínico y Lic. en Biomedicina con una amplia experiencia como profesora de matemáticas, química, física, biología y teatro musical; además bailarina, directora artística y guionista de espectáculos musicales. Disfruto ejerciendo la enseñanza Grado en Laboratorio Clínico y Biomédico. Certificación como sanitario en Incidente de Múltiples Víctimas en Catástrofes. Lic. Biomedicina.
