¡Buenas! Soy Pablo y tengo 25 años. Estoy especializado en clases de Economía e Inglés. Me encantaría acompañaros a crear un espacio seguro y cómodo donde podamos aprender mutuamente. Me avalan casi 2000 sesiones realizadas con alumnos desde los 8 añitos , ESO , bachillerato e incluso adultos que quieren darle una oportunidad a mejorar a su Inglés . Como os quiero ofrecer una dinámica profesor-alumno cercana, sería injusto no hablaros un poco sobre mí. Algunas de mis cualidades que me describen tanto a nivel personal como profesional son la templanza, el optimismo y la curiosidad, esto último me ha ayudado a aumentar mi conocimiento en ámbitos como la Psicología o Pedagogía. Trabajo a diario la perseverancia dado que soy un apasionado de los deportes de fuerza y trato de llevar una vida equilibrada a través del entrenamiento. En mis ratos libres me encanta descubrir Madrid con mi perrita y disfrutar de restaurantes y bares, combinándolo con ratos de descanso en casa donde devoro cómics. Mi historial laboral y académico ha sido variado y me ha permitido desarrollar herramientas, estrategias y actitudes para adaptarme a distintos tipos de realidades. Como último apunte, a nivel metodológico decir que combinaré los beneficios de la tecnología sin perder de vista el factor humano porque creo posible una educación alternativa, personal y moderna. Actualmente soy opositor al Cuerpo Nacional de Policía y he estudiado el grado en Economía en la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela. Empecé dando clases particulares al salir del instituto centrándome en la rama de las ciencias sociales y el inglés , ya que he pasado varias temporadas en Inglaterra. Compagino mis funciones como tutor donde he realizado cerca de 2000 sesiones , con alumnos desde los 8 añitos hasta jubilados , con ser expositor en diferentes ferias normalmente centradas en el sector del turismo.

I've had experienced teaching preschoolers, highschoolers, Senior high school, college students and foreign students which I believe broaden my knowledge not only with other peoples' culture but also on the importance of the English language in our daily lives. My subject of expertise are grammar, communication, literature and research. I use different classroom strategies such as debate, speech presentation, role playing and a lot more because I am passionate about helping my students gain their confidence in presenting themselves in front of other people using the English language and be successful on their field. I teach senior high school mathematics at all levels, from foundational to advanced. With years of experience as a government tax specialist and roles as a system analyst, programmer, and statistician in IT, I transitioned to teaching, which has always been my passion. I began tutoring in college to support my expenses and discovered the rewarding challenge of working with a student with dyscalculia. Through tailored strategies and building strong rapport, she succeeded. My diverse background has made me resourceful and innovative, enhancing my effectiveness in both teaching and problem-solving. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, where I completed challenging courses such as Calculus, Statistical Analysis, Number Theory, and Linear Algebra. I also pursued post-graduate studies in Mathematics Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, focusing on educational strategies and child development, with research on learning disabilities. Although I couldn’t complete my thesis due to budget constraints, I am skilled in teaching all levels of mathematics, including Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Statistics, and Business Mathematics.

I am a 31 year old Ugandan currently residing in Pontevedra, Spain. I speak fluent English because I am a native speaker, but also speak Spanish, and understand Galician. I am available Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, and Fri (16:00, to and 21:00), Sat and Sun (10:00-19:00). I like reading, listening to music, watching movies, playing video games, cycling, hiking, and playing chess. I am currently an English Language Assistant in Vigo, and I have more than 4 years experience of teaching English. I teach indivuals within this given age range (12-60). My methods are more practical, but can also be theoretical. Sometimes I make a presentation, play a game, read a passage, do exercises, and other times I play a YouTube video about the topic I want to teach, and then ask questions after. I have good explanations together with practical examples, and I am patient, and empathetic with my students. I push the student to maximize his or her potential. I have also studied Public Health at the university. I have exceptional experience in preventive medicine, health sciences, research methods, and anything to do with health. I am good at information technology, and using computer programs. I am also good at using Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, and Word). At the university level, I can offer support in research work ( Data collection and Analysis, Thesis, Dissertation, and Concept paper writing, proof reading, referencing, etc.)
