I utilize a variety of instructional techniques and materials, including online resources, to accommodate diverse learning styles and ensure that each student has the tools they need to succeed. I've been a teacher for 6 years now, handling various subjects in Junior High School and Senior High School, age ranging from 10 to 23 years old. I am also an international coach in Mathematics Olympiad. I have a license as a professional teacher which I acquired last 2018. I have a degree in Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics where I’ve been honing my skills in teaching and further expanding my knowledge in the field of education. I started this journey in 2019, and completed it this September 2024. I earned my degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Mathematics, in 2018. During my time there, I was a Dean’s Lister, demonstrating my passion and dedication to academic excellence. I graduated as Class Valedictorian during my Elementary and Secondary School. In terms of experience, I’ve been teaching as a Senior High School Teacher II since October 2021. I’ve had the opportunity to handle various subjects, including Mathematics, Practical Research, and Accounting related subjects. Before this, I had a brief stint as a substitute teacher in September 2021, and I also taught for three years at Jose Rizal Institute from 2018 to 2021, teaching Mathematics to both junior and senior high school students. I have already attended various trainings and seminars in Mathematics. Aside from that, I won different competitions in Mathematics, the recent was as a winning coach for National Olympiad and set to compete in International Olympiad. Through my experiences in different teaching environments, I’ve developed a strong foundation in instructional methods and a deep commitment to helping students excel in their academic pursuits. I am a Registered Psychometrician who has worked in an educational institution for several years. I also have four years of experience teaching English and I am TEFL-certified. During my first year of teaching, I became an assessor for young learners. I assess and evaluate their proficiency in the English language. Additionally, I was allowed to teach Business English to young professionals and businesspeople. I help them prepare for exams and presentations and enhance their professional communication. I also help boost their confidence in speaking. Teaching has always been my passion. It allows me to share my knowledge and inspire my students to succeed. During my free time, I read novels and watch movies. I also love traveling and exploring other cultures and trying different cuisines. I majored in Psychology at the university and earned thirty-nine (39) academic units in my master's degree in Psychological Measurement at De La Salle University. I have always been interested in studying Psychology because it is fascinating. It helps us understand human behavior, thoughts, and emotions. It is like uncovering the reason why people behave in a particular way, which can lead to better relationships and communication. I took the board exams to become a Registered Psychometrician in 2015. As a Psychometrician, I specialize in the development, administration and interpretation of psychological tests that measure a variety of attributes such as intelligence, personality and behavior. I play a crucial role in ensuring these tests are scientifically valid, reliable and unbiased. Furthermore, I love teaching the English language as well. Language is a vital tool for communication, and it is amazingly rewarding to help others develop that skill too.
