Hello there! I'm Rochelle and I'm excited to be your tutor! I have a degree in Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics and also a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics. I've been a teacher for 6 years now, handling various subjects in Junior High School and Senior High School, age ranging from 10 to 23 years old. I am also an international coach in Mathematics Olympiad. I have a license as a professional teacher which I acquired last 2018. As an educator, my teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student has the potential to excel when given the right support, guidance, and opportunities to learn. My role as a teacher is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel confident to express their ideas, take risks, and explore their potential. I am a Licensed Professional Teacher certified by Professional Regulation Commission with a Degree in Mathematics and 6 years of experience in managing the workplace and classrooms. I have a degree in Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics where I’ve been honing my skills in teaching and further expanding my knowledge in the field of education. I started this journey in 2019, and completed it this September 2024. I earned my degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Mathematics, in 2018. During my time there, I was a Dean’s Lister, demonstrating my passion and dedication to academic excellence. I graduated as Class Valedictorian during my Elementary and Secondary School. In terms of experience, I’ve been teaching as a Senior High School Teacher II since October 2021. I’ve had the opportunity to handle various subjects, including Mathematics, Practical Research, and Accounting related subjects. Before this, I had a brief stint as a substitute teacher in September 2021, and I also taught for three years at Jose Rizal Institute from 2018 to 2021, teaching Mathematics to both junior and senior high school students. I have already attended various trainings and seminars in Mathematics. Aside from that, I won different competitions in Mathematics, the recent was as a winning coach for National Olympiad and set to compete in International Olympiad. Through my experiences in different teaching environments, I’ve developed a strong foundation in instructional methods and a deep commitment to helping students excel in their academic pursuits. Étudiante diplômés d’un Master 2 Mathématiques et actuellement inscrite en M2 Mathématiques et informatique, j’ai toujours eu le goût de transmettre mes connaissances de mathématiques aux autres élèves et étudiants afin de leur aider à mieux comprendre cette discipline et avancer dans leurs études. Durant mes années de licences, j’ai participé à des cours de soutien organisé par le Club des étudiants Comorien à l’UCAD au Sénégal (CECUCAD). Pendant l’année scolaire 2019-2020, j’ai travaillé en tant qu’intervenant à l’aide aux devoirs pour des élèves de la primaire et du collège ( CM2, 6ème et 5ème) pour des cours particuliers à domicile au 91430 Igny. Je suis également professeur de cours particuliers chez Anacours et Numéro 1 scolarité des sociétés spécialisées dans les cours particuliers à domicile. C’est l’occasion pour moi d’avoir une aperçue sur le programme de mathématiques proposé par le Ministère de l’Éducation Nationale et de nouer des bonnes relations avec les élèves et parents d’élèves. Je suis motivée et déterminée à m’investir pleinement.
