I'm Mae Concepcion Tejano, and I'm excited to be part of your journey to mastering English! With a TEFL certification and a degree in English, I bring over five years of experience teaching GCSE and A Level students from various backgrounds and skill levels. In our sessions, I plan to use a variety of multimedia resources, including articles, games, and videos, to make the learning experience enjoyable and interactive. I graduated with a degree in Juris Doctor, or Doctorate of Law, a program that not only honed my legal expertise but also provided a broad and strong foundation in various disciplines such as teaching methods, linguistics, literature, politics, and Philippine history. Through my studies, I gained an understanding of the intersection between law and society, which enhanced my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively. In addition to the legal coursework, I learned essential pedagogical skills that have proven invaluable in various teaching environments. I focused on designing lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, ensuring that all students, regardless of background, feel supported and encouraged in their learning journey. Je suis passionnée par la transmission du savoir. C'est pourquoi j'ai enseigné plus de 20 ans auprès de collégiens et lycéens. J'aime transmettre mes connaissances dans les matières littéraires, français et histoire-géographie. Je suis ainsi titulaire d'une maîtrise (équivalent master), obtenue en 1998. J'ai également l'expérience de cours particuliers à domicile, toute aussi intéressante et motivante. Je donne des cours à des primaires, collégiens, lycéens et adultes. Expérience très positive et gratifiante chez Go Student avec des élèves qui ont vu leur moyenne remonter. Très à l'écoute de mes élèves et soucieuse de leur réussite scolaire, leurs progrès sont pour moi une vraie source de satisfaction. Je suis titulaire d'une maîtrise (équivalent Master) obtenue à l'Université de Clermont -Ferrand. J'ai ensuite enseigné l'Histoire-Géographie et le Français durant 20 ans dans des établissements scolaires, pour l'Education Nationale. J'ai également donné des cours particuliers et suis désormais tutrice chez Go Student depuis 2 ans.

Hi! I am Lyka Anne I. Gabuat, I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education degree, specializing in Teaching Mathematics to middle school and high school students. For 6 years, I have taught math courses to senior high school students, specifically Calculus, Statistics and Probabilities and General Mathematics. I also have a short but extensive experience teaching IB, A-level and IGCSE math’ through an after-school program in China. At present, I am an online private tutor catering students who are struggling in mathematics. At present, I’m a freelance private math tutor. I like to see my students have fun as they learn new ideas and concepts. I believe that every student is unique, and it's our responsibility as educators to nurture their individual strengths and help them reach their full potential. I graduated from University of Baguio, Philippines last may of 2016 and got my teaching license the same year. I worked in the same University from August 2016 - December 2022 as Senior High School math teacher. I went to China in the following year to tutor International students and come back for personal reasons. At the moment, I'm a freelance Math tutor catering primary school to senior high school students thru online and face-to-face platform. I am also a unit earner (25 units) in Masters in Education Major in Mathematics. In addition, I have B2 level Certificate in International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
