Hi! I am Lyka Anne I. Gabuat, I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education degree, specializing in Teaching Mathematics to middle school and high school students. For 6 years, I have taught math courses to senior high school students, specifically Calculus, Statistics and Probabilities and General Mathematics. I also have a short but extensive experience teaching IB, A-level and IGCSE math’ through an after-school program in China. At present, I am an online private tutor catering students who are struggling in mathematics. At present, I’m a freelance private math tutor. I like to see my students have fun as they learn new ideas and concepts. I believe that every student is unique, and it's our responsibility as educators to nurture their individual strengths and help them reach their full potential. I graduated from University of Baguio, Philippines last may of 2016 and got my teaching license the same year. I worked in the same University from August 2016 - December 2022 as Senior High School math teacher. I went to China in the following year to tutor International students and come back for personal reasons. At the moment, I'm a freelance Math tutor catering primary school to senior high school students thru online and face-to-face platform. I am also a unit earner (25 units) in Masters in Education Major in Mathematics. In addition, I have B2 level Certificate in International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

While teaching is my passion, my hobbies play a huge role in shaping who I am and how I connect with others. I’m an avid traveler and love immersing myself in different cultures. Whether it’s exploring bustling cities or peaceful countryside, every journey inspires me and often gives me ideas to make my lessons more engaging. Photography is another passion of mine—I enjoy capturing unique perspectives, especially during my travels. Laureato in Fisica all'Università degli di Studi di Roma Tor Vergata, studente magistrale di Fisica Teorica all'Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata. Da sempre appassionato alla divulgazione scientifica, ho deciso di intraprendere il mio percorso di studi dopo aver letto/essermi appassionato alle leggi e alle teorie più importanti della Fisica moderna (Relatività Generale/Meccanica Quantistica) tramite libri di Stephen Hawking, Carlo Rovelli, Brian Greene e altri. Interessato alle connessioni tra Fisica e Filosofia, aspirante professore/ricercatore. Durante i miei anni di studio mi sono confrontato con diverse materie di esame, tra le quali: Analisi Matematica, Geometria ed Algebra Lineare, Laboratorio di Fisica (meccanica, circuiti ed elettronica), Meccanica e Termodinamica, Elettromagnetismo, Meccanica Analitica, Meccanica Quantistica. Questi studi mi hanno permesso di imparare a poter descrivere alcuni dei fenomeni della Natura non solo attraverso descrizioni qualitative, ma anche quantitative.

Studente di Ingegneria Informatica, quando non sono impegnato a studiare (o a lavorare con GoStudent) mi piace molto guardare il calcio e la Formula 1, preferisco pormi in modo molto informale con i miei studenti, cercare di instaurare un rapporto come tra fratello maggiore e minore, sono convinto che l'empatia e la voglia di crescere siano la base di qualsiasi storia di successo.
