Hi, I’m Elaine Bereña, and I specialize in teaching Mathematics. My teaching journey began as part of my return of service for the scholarship I received during my college years. During that time, I taught various Math subjects, including General Mathematics, Pre-Calculus, Basic Calculus, and Statistics and Probability. In addition to my classroom experience, I also provided tutoring services for college students in higher-level mathematics courses, such as Calculus. Currently, I work as a freelance chat-based tutor, continuing to support students with their learning needs in Mathematics. The satisfaction I feel when a student grasps a challenging concept is incredibly rewarding. I take great pride in contributing to each student’s academic growth, and I view teaching as a reciprocal experience—helping students develop while constantly learning and evolving myself. As an educator, I am passionate about creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. My goal is to make students feel comfortable and confident, encouraging them to share their hobbies, interests, and personal experiences. I incorporate these elements into lessons and practice problems, making the learning process more relatable, enjoyable, and aligned with their unique passions. I hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Batangas State University – The National Engineering University in the Philippines. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in both teaching and the Electrical Engineering industry, with a particular focus on renewable energy. My career spans various roles in engineering, project management, strategic planning, and teaching, equipping me with a versatile skill set and a deep understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of the field. In addition to my technical expertise, I am passionate about bridging the gap between theory and real-world applications, ensuring that students not only develop strong academic foundations but also acquire the practical skills and insights needed to excel in their careers. I believe in providing students with a well-rounded learning experience that prepares them for the dynamic challenges of the engineering world, particularly in emerging sectors like renewable energy. As I continue to grow professionally, I look forward to further contributing to the academic community, sharing my knowledge, and learning from others to enhance both my teaching and industry practice.

Ho studiato presso l’università di Roma Tor Vergata e mi sono laureata in triennale in matematica. Inizierò il corso di laurea magistrale in statistica all’università La Sapienza. Il mio interesse per la matematica inizia fin dai tempi delle elementari e il mio obiettivo è quello di trasmettere la mia passione ai ragazzi. Ho frequentato il liceo scientifico conseguendo il diploma nel 2019 e successivamente mi sono laureata alla facoltà di matematica all’università di Tor Vergata. Il mio obiettivo è quello di proseguire gli studi in campo matematico, specializzandomi nel settore della statistica.

In my free time, I love to read books, bake delicious treats, and go for morning jogs, which keep me energized and inspired throughout the day. I hold a degree in Elementary Education with a major in General Education, which has given me a solid foundation in teaching methods and linguistics. My studies have equipped me to plan captivating lessons, manage classrooms efficiently, and adapt my teaching strategies to cater to various learning styles. I am dedicated to ensuring that every student feels encouraged, empowered, and excited to learn.

Sono un ragazzo curioso con la passione per lo sport, in particolare il calcio, il surf e il futsal (che pratico), oltre ad essere interessato al mondo della finanza. Sono un po' come un grande amico che vi dà una mano con la scuola. Le lezioni saranno rilassate e interattive. Useremo esempi reali per capire meglio le cose e affronteremo insieme esercizi e sfide interessanti🌟 Ciao! Mi chiamo Riccardo, ho 25 anni e vivo a Padova. Sto facendo una laurea magistrale in lingua inglese, ICT engineering, dopo essermi laureato in Ingegneria dell’informazione. Oltre all’inglese, parlo anche lo Spagnolo e il Portoghese grazie ai miei due Erasmus in Spagna e Portogallo.
