Sono Pietro Bella, ho 22 anni e frequento il terzo anno di ingegneria informatica al politecnico di Torino. Mi piace aiutare gli altri dove è possibile e mi sento molto appagato se quest'ultimi ottengono buoni risultati grazie ai miei consigli. Credo che la teoria sia importante ma incompleta, se non accostata a dei buoni esercizi pratici. Sono pronto per fare la mia parte. Ho frequentato l’istituto tecnico a Cuneo nel campo dell’elettronica ed elettrotecnica. Nella mia carriera scolastica ho partecipato quasi sempre ai giochi matematici della Bocconi, qualificandomi numerose volte alla finale nazionale. Al secondo anno di superiori ho fatto parte di un team di 4 persone con i quali sono arrivato secondo alla finale nazionale di problem-solving. Frequento tutt'ora ingegneria informatica al politecnico di torino.

Hello everyone! My name’s Francesco and I’m a certified TESOL teacher. I was born in Los Angeles but moved to Italy when I was a teenager. My dual-citizenship for Italy and the U.S.A. has always pushed me to improve my language skills over the years, and I can now declare to have reached proficiency levels both in Italian and English. I started out by teaching English almost in jest in one of the language centers close to where I live, but then it really grew on me. That is why, during one of my trips back to my native country, I decided to accomplish a certificate in TESOL (that is, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). Given my background in Business studies, I’ve recently embarked upon a new challenge where I got to co-teach subjects such as Geography and Mathematics according to the Cambridge International IGCSE syllabus, which is an innovative curriculum offered in some Italian high schools that allows students to deepen their knowledge in a different and fun way. I hope you liked my presentation and I’m looking forward to overcome the language barrier with you! I believe I’m the right tutor for you because I experienced first hand the hardships of learning a new language but I can assure you it’s definitely worth it! My name's Benedetta, I am a university student, currently enrolled in a bachelor degree in Foreing languages, cultures and literatures.I love European languages and cultures, my greatest passion has always been English, but I also study German, Spanish and Portuguese. I love learning all about a new culture, not only the language but also the traditions and customs of a country. That's why I enjoy travelling a lot, I can see with my own eyes what's written in books, discover new things that a textbook would never tell me, challenge and immerse myself completely in another culture. My dream job is to be a conference interpreter for international institutions, as it would allow me to blend my passion for languages and my love for travelling. I went to a scientific high school, graduated with 100, and right now I am in my third year of university. I attended an English language school for a month in London, with the final award of a C1 certificate. In 2019/2020, I attended the British School for a full year, taking a C1 course that ended with a Cambridge English Advanced (C1) final exam, with an overall score of 193. Between September 2023 and March 2024, I lived and studied in Germany thanks to the Erasmus+ programme, I was enrolled in a German university where I took classes alternatively in English and German. I gave private lessons to high school students who needed help with learning English and preparing for certifications, both in presence and online, so I already have experience with teaching English.
