Hello there! I am Jasmin, and I would like to welcome you to my English study corner. I was born in Italy but spent most of my growing up and teenage years in England, where half of my family still resides. My favourite hobbies are travel, snowboarding, and reading mystery and fantasy books. I am a huge fan of Agatha Christie and J.R.R. Tolkien's works. I love nature, especially flowers, and I often listen to K-pop songs or watch Disney cartoons when I need to relax. I reside in a small village in the Tuscan countryside where I share my little tiny cottage with four fluffy cats and a playful dog. Along with my passion for teaching, I am fascinated by exploring the world's different cultures and traditions and everything related to studying foreign languages. I enjoy teaching because it allows me to establish connections and make friends worldwide easily. Through some of those new friendships, I have improved my Russian, learned Chinese, and begun learning Korean. I am a Cambridge CELTA and Young Learners certified ESL teacher and I specialise in teaching all four aspects of the English language (reading, writing, listening and speaking) to students of any level from six to eighteen years old, as well as conversational and general English to adults. I first started tutoring face to face in 2003, soon after graduating, and I have two years of online teaching experience with children and teenagers from an elementary to an advanced level. My English level is native-like with a neutral accent and I have studied German, and Spanish for five years. I can speak Russian at an intermediate level and I’m currently learning Korean and Chinese. I have been working as an ESL teacher for an Ukrainian school for quite some time now and I have experience teaching children and young adults from different parts of the world, both individually and in groups. Alongside my teaching job, I regularly volunteer as ESL teacher for Stepping Stones, a non-profit organisation devoted to providing better education to disadvantaged children in China. I am a cheerful, enthusiastic and patient tutor, easy to talk to, and flexible with my teaching style. I will help and motivate you to overcome your fears, improve your skills and build your confidence in the English language. Ciao! Sono Sara, laureata in Fisica, con più di 6 anni di esperienza in ripetizioni di matematica e fisica. Il mio obiettivo è aiutare gli studenti a comprendere queste materie, rendendole meno ostiche e più accessibili. Il metodo che utilizzo è quello prima di capire quali sono le difficoltà e poi successivamente come superarle insieme. Ciao, sono Sara e vengo da Napoli. Ho studiato al Liceo Scientifico "Vincenzo Cuoco" e poi mi sono iscritta all'Università "Federico II" per seguire la mia passione per la Fisica. Ora proseguo con una magistrale in Fisica dei Materiali all'Università di Parma.
