Merhaba, ismim Gökçe Selvi, 23 yaşındayım. Aktif olarak Kırıkkale Üniversitesi Mütercim Tercümanlık Fransızca bölümünde son sınıf öğrencisiyim. Stajımı Erasmus+ kapsamında Fransa'nın Marsilya şehrinde tamamladım. YDS Academy kurumundan onaylı İngilizce C1 sertifikasına sahibim. Çocukları ve çocuklarla çalışmayı çok seviyorum. Tüm yaş gruplarıyla çalışabilirim. Lisede halkla ilişkiler okuduğumdan dolayı çocuklarla olan iletişimime güveniyorum ve bu platformda onlarla çalışmak için sabırsızlanıyorum. I am a positive person who has an enthusiastic outlook on life. I love my job and I get genuine satisfaction from seeing my students develop and grow as individuals.If I can have a positive impact on their future, I feel I am doing my job well. I am an effective communicator, both in writing and verbally and I have a strong ability to plan and organise effectively; something which is crucial to the role of a competent teacher. I cope very well and i can adapt my style or teaching methods, when needed, to deliver consistent results. My teaching style is primarily centred on student’s needs. I adapt my teaching style in order to cater for the needs of the students and make the material as interesting as possible. I like to use entertaining exercises/ activities , colorful PowerPoint slides and even videos where possible to demonstrate my learning points. I believe this is something which increases student interest significantly, and from my experience, leads to a better learning experience overall. I have been Teaching English in Turkey for almost 4 years now. During this time i have had the honor to help my students greatly improve their English language focusing on Speaking, Listening, Reading as well as Writing. I have worked with kids , teenagers as well as adults and it has been a great experience. My online teaching experienced started off right around 2020 during the Covid 19 pandemic because we couldn’t see face to face with my students, the same year I joined native camp which is just another ESL platform and i had the honor of helping Japanese students learn English online. I’m currently finishing my bachelors degree in Mining Engineering at Eskisehir Osmangazi University.

An energetic, committed, and fully qualified teacher who has a passion for teaching and can make significant differences to the lives of students. She is able to establish a classroom atmosphere in which pupils are all involved through different tasks. I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Literature. My M.A. is in TEFL.(my major is teaching English as a foreign language). I hold a CELTA certificate from Cambridge University. I have a strong interest in pursuing a teaching career. With experience working at different levels and ages, as well as in activities outside the traditional classroom, I have a diverse background with much to offer. I am also a teacher with online teaching experience through different platforms such as zoom. I prepare students for official exams as well as pre- IELTS courses. I started my career in 2011. I have taught hundreds of students both adults and children. I continued my teaching career in Turkey by cooperating in language schools and prep- school at Uskudar University. I am great at what I do and love bringing this level of learning to my students of all levels. I believe that it will be valuable .
