Your Rights and Responsibilities Under the Digital Services Act

GoStudent, as an access and hosting service provider, adheres to its responsibilities under the Digital Services Act.

1.For Users

GoStudent is committed to providing a platform that ensures a secure and enjoyable experience for all stakeholders, including both customers and tutors.

1.1. Reporting Illegal Content

As an education company, the wellbeing of all stakeholders, in particular of minors, is at the core of what we do. We have implemented standards and procedures equipped to ensure the safety and security of all users. Our Safeguarding Policy applies to any behaviour and interactions over the platform and aims at preventing any incidents which may impair your experience while using or providing the services.

If you come across information you believe to be illegal or against our general terms, you can notify us at dsa@gostudent.org. Please provide a detailed explanation, the specific location of the content, and your contact details.

1.2. Misuse

Users may face suspension, preceded by a warning when appropriate, for engaging in illegal activities or violating our terms. Misuse of our content reporting system may also result in suspension.

1.3. Resolving Disputes

Actions taken against content that violates our terms can be contested through our internal complaint system. Contact us at dsa@gostudent.org to file a complaint. We commit to engaging with out-of-court dispute settlement bodies, and will update our site when these are certified.

2. For Tutors

Tutors are expected to comply with all laws and our terms, which is acknowledged upon using our platform.

2.1. Customer Experience Protection

GoStudent may take actions, such as account suspension, against tutors who provide illegal content or breach our terms.

2.2. Informing about Actions Taken

We will notify tutors about any significant actions affecting their content or account. Decisions will also be shared in a public, anonymized database.
