At GoStudent, every customer can choose the perfect model from a wide range of options. You can request advice here.
Go to our Homepage and sign up for a trial lesson! You can choose from any subject as well as the date you want.
Booking
You always have the possibility to reschedule your lesson in the WebApp, as long as it is up to 60 minutes before the scheduled start time.
All you have to do is click on the clock symbol in the ‘My Tutoring Lessons’ section, and choose a new start time and date. Your tutor will then either accept or reject this request. You can also ask your tutor via your WhatsApp group - we strongly recommend doing this as far in advance as possible before the session start time.
Please bear in mind that if a reschedule request is at short-notice, your request may still be rejected by your tutor, as they will have spent valuable time preparing the session. As many of our tutors have busy schedules, they also lose the lesson time which could have been used for another student.

Your potential monthly earnings are dependent on a range of factors, including your availability, the subject(s) you teach and the number of lessons you would like to provide per month. You can find the current base rates for a lesson (50 minutes) in our FAQs and in the WebApp after successful registration.

Security
At GoStudent, the safety and wellbeing of our students, tutors, and staff members is paramount.
We operate under a strict zero-tolerance policy for any form of inappropriate behaviour, be it from tutors, students, guardians or staff members. This includes, but is not limited to, harassment, bullying, abuse, neglect, and discrimination.
Therefore we enforce a strict Safeguarding Policy protecting everyone who interacts on our platform from any form of harm, abuse, or exploitation.
All our tutors go through a selection process before joining the platform and this, (depending on the market), includes background checks, interviews, and/or other vetting mechanisms to ensure that tutors are qualified and suitable for working with students.
To qualify for tutoring on our platform, tutors must adhere to all local legal requirements in their respective market and be deemed suitable to work with students. We require all tutors to provide a valid background check upon entering our platform. Given that requirements may differ based on local laws and regulations, we individually inform tutors about market-specific requirements upon their entry on the platform.
Tutors must then also successfully pass competency tests in the subject areas they wish to tutor in, and also participate in either a group interview or submit an introduction video of themselves, with the camera enabled throughout the process.
Finally, all accepted tutors are required to complete an onboarding training program and must adhere strictly to our Tutor Code of Conduct.

The obligation to report any incident for the purpose of safeguarding rests on everyone involved. Every submitted incident undergoes a thorough assessment and investigation as needed, followed by appropriate actions.
The following steps are recommended, though not necessarily in this order, and not all steps may be required:
Students who experience any inappropriate behaviour from a tutor should immediately inform their guardian, who can then decide on further actions.
Tutors who experience any inappropriate behaviour from a student or other persons involved should request to stop that behaviour in a polite manner.
Terminate the tutoring session right away, if the incident is happening during a session.
Report the incident directly to the Safety Officer via our Safety Centre on the platform or by emailing safeguarding@gostudent.org. Our Safety Officers are staff members who are specially trained to deal with every incident that is reported. We have dedicated officers in all the markets where we operate.
If necessary, contact the police and/or competent local authorities.
Discontinue any further interaction with the tutor implicated in the incident. Additionally, any unsolicited contact from the tutor after the event should be reported to the Safety Officer without delay.

All reported incidents will be thoroughly assessed and investigated as needed, followed by appropriate actions.
If you have any concerns, it is essential to report them without delay to GoStudent. You can do this via our Safety Centre on the GoStudent web Platform or by emailing our Safety Officers at safeguarding@gostudent.org. This ensures that any safeguarding incidents are directly and swiftly brought to the attention of the Safety Officer.
