Holly Kirby
ENGLISH LANGUAGE I enjoy tutoring English at Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-Level. I have successfully helped many pupils with their SATS tests, 11+, GCSE and A-Level exams. ENGLISH LITERATURE I tutor English Literature up to Higher Level and have plenty of experience of tutoring GCSE English Literature with GoStudent. I've also worked with iGCSE and IB level students. I’d be especially happy to help with 19th century literature at Higher Level, as I studied a Year 3 19th century literature module for my BA (Hons). HISTORY I've tutored pupils studying history at Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3 and GCSE level. I’m happy to help with social history and Victorian history topics up to A-level, as my specialism is in 19th century socio-economic history. ART HISTORY I would love to help students of Art History of all age ranges up to Higher Level. I’m a firm believer in the outlook of the Art History in Schools charity that advises teaching Art History from the age of five. Lessons in Art History can help students of other subjects like history, art, architecture, and photography. For those considering going on to learn Art History at University, it is useful to have taster lessons. HUMANITIES Part of my BA (Hons) degree involved studying Humanities modules and I would be happy to tutor students of Humanities up to Higher level. HERITAGE, MUSEUM STUDIES, TOURISM AND TRAVEL Due to my experience with my MA in Heritage Management and working for the National Trust, I am happy to assist anyone studying heritage, tourism and travel courses to Higher Level. I have experience of exam boards AQA, OCR, WJEC Eduqas and Edexcel. I am patient, friendly and love to support students to help them get the best out of their education. My hobbies include creative writing and I enjoy helping other writers, including young adults, by critiquing their creative writing. I have been nominated for a Writing.com Quill Award for being a top reviewer. I write non-fiction about literature and history, such as my latest book 'Jane Austen’s Easter'. I enjoy painting, historical dressmaking, watching historical and fantasy films, visiting historic sites and gardens, and walking with my dog.

Hi, I'm Ruby and I am currently at Durham University studying Theology. I give one-to-one online tutoring sessions in GCSE and A-Level History and Biology. I have a flexible teaching style that can cater to your learning needs. Having recently completed my A-levels in Modern History and Biology, I know how difficult learning the content (as well as exam technique) can be. I'm here to make that as pain-free as possible! In my free time I like to crochet and go indoor bouldering.

I have just graduated from Nottingham University with a degree in History and Politics, now working full-time as a Tutor. Subjects: Lower Level: English, Maths GCSE: English Language, English Literature, History, Politics, Citizenship A-Level: English Language, English Literature, History, Politics Degree Level: History, Politics - All exam boards welcome! - - All ages welcome! - About me: I love sports, particularly football and tennis, as well as writing and reading. I achieved three A*'s in my A-Levels, despite having my final year hampered due to Covid. I grew up in London, before attending Nottingham University. In my spare time I play for a football team (find them on Youtube "5IVE GUYS FC"!), support Arsenal, and love going out with my friends. I have helped numerous students boost their grades, as well as changing their attitude towards their studies.
